While working on my photographic skills (especially those involved in dealing with a black cat), I found Lil’ Bit curled up on one of my camera bags. She likes to help me with everything…except sitting really still so I can practice on her.

Still, this is a better shot than I have taken of her before.

PS. Her right eye was injured as a tiny kitten, before we found her. The vet was sure she could see some out of it so we didn’t want to do anything severe. After it healed, he told us to keep it clean so it didn’t get re-infected and we’d see how it went. I’m happy to report that she is almost eight years old and has never had another problem with it! And I’m convinced that she sees out of it as well. What a beauty, inside and out.
